K12 Scholars Program Launched

The Consortium for Translational and Precision Health is excited to announce the launch of the K12 Scholars Program, which aims to recruit, train and retain clinical and translational science scholars dedicated to understanding and advancing the science of translation.

Program scholars will experience

  • A robust, integrated career development program, including protected time, mentored research training, core and individualized didactic curriculum, experiential activities and networking opportunities

  • An enhanced training experience through workshops and group-based activities

  • High-quality, innovative mentored research that demonstrates how to incorporate clinical and translational science methods into research projects

  • Didactic training that allows scholars to identify and address social, genetic, behavioral, and environmental determinants of health through focused training and applied experiences in data science, dissemination and implementation, and community/stakeholder engagement

  • Mentor and mentee training based on evidence-informed mentoring practices
